John Fogerty (Credence Clearwater Revival) & special guests Steve Miller Band are the first headline acts confirmed to play the opening night at London's BluesFest 2018. They will perform at the O2 Arena on Thursday 25th October and this will be their only UK shows for the year. Fogerty will be performing all the hits such as Bad Moon Rising and Proud Mary.
This one-time collaboration, Steady Rollin’ Blues, is not to be missed. In May 2018 two giants of the blues are coming together for a UK tour. Internet sensation TOBY LEE, the 13-year-old British guitarist recently appeared on the famous hit TV show - The Ellen Show where he impressed celebrity host Ellen Degeneres. During this visit, he also spent time at the Gibson studio and at Norman's Rare Guitars. This video has an awesome surprise at the end of it for guitarist Toby Lee. Next week sees Blues in Hell with 21 bands from all across Europe compete for the title spot. This will be the 8th European Blues Challenge held in the beautiful 5* Scandic Hell Hotel, Norway. The competition runs over 3 days, with the winners gaining the opportunity to perform at many of the top European Festivals throughout the year. We wish UK band LaVendore Rogue all the very best.

Album review: JT4tet sees the reunion of two musicians who worked together during the nineties under various names (The London Blues Band, Roogalator II and the original Grooveyard), Tim Richards and Jon Taylor. They have accompanied US blues artists Mojo Buford, Deitra Farr and British blues queen Dana Gillespie. They are joined by the bass and drums team of Andres (Andy) Lafone and Peter Miles.
The Greet will meet the Mississippi on Thursday, June 7th when the Gate to Southwell Festival brings some of the world’s best blues stars to town. Southwell Festival is set in Nottinghamshire, England and specialises in Folk and Roots music, however, this year they are dedicating Thursday evening to a Blues extravaganza with Nine Below Zero as the headlining act.
