“I think Andy wrote this song ‘Healing Hands’ just for this moment. I am once again humbled by his ability to evoke emotions from within all of us. That is, we all have someone in our lives he wrote this for. Or, maybe that person is you. Forget the video for a moment. Close your eyes and listen to the song, to the words. And just when you think you’re about to cry, open your eyes and see how happy he is that you’re listening.” – Eric Alan Donaldson, Film Producer.

Fraser has enjoyed phenomenal international success throughout the span of his career. At the age of 15 he became the bassist for one of the British Invasion’s most renouned rock bands FREE.

Fraser was honored by BMI’s 4 Million Play Club for writing the monster rock anthem “All Right Now,” and was the songwriter for Robert Palmer’s mega-hit “Every Kind Of People”. In addition, he had written and composed for artists including; Rod Stewart, Chaka Khan, Paul Young, Joe Cocker, Paul Carrack, Wilson Pickett, Three Dog Night, Bob Seger, Randy Crawford, Etta James, Frankie Miller, and Ted Nugent.
A survivor of both cancer and AIDS, Andy Fraser was a strong social activist and defender of individual human rights. His last live performance was for the non-profit Rock Against Trafficking’s Grammy After Party at Exchange LA on February 8, 2015.

Label Manager for McTrax (Andy’s record label), Cyrene Jagger, made this statement: “The family has requested that anyone who wishes to show their appreciation of Andy can donate to a cause that he was passionate about. Please choose something that touches your heart. You can honor Andy and his legacy by following his example, which was to choose to live your life in service, to the best of your ability, in the care and love of one another.”
